Scale Soaring

There are
many types of scale soaring, large scale slope, scale thermal
duration, static judging, scale aero-tow, power slope scale
(PSS), and others. If you can do it with a full sized airplane,
chances are a scale model will do it also, just on a smaller
scale!

SBSS is one of the oldest and most active clubs in the scale
soaring community. We organize one of the longest running scale
events in the country at Los Banos, California. Scale flyers
from all over attend this event to take advantage of both slope
and aero-tow facilities. This event has brought international
recognition to SBSS thru various US and foreign model media.

to try
scale soaring.
