SBSS FRIA Locations

SBSS FRIA Locations:   FRIA stands for FAA-Recognized Identification Area.

It is a geographic location where radio-controlled aircraft can be flown without Remote ID equipment. Both the aircraft and the pilot must be located within the FRIA's boundaries throughout the operation. In addition the pilot must be able to see the aircraft at all times throughout the duration of the flight.

FAA FRIA's will be valid for 48 calendar months unless renewed.
